CITiZAN Tidelines seminar/presentation

We were invited to present Tidelines as part of the CITiZAN webinar programme. CITiZAN is the Coastal and Intertidal Zone Archaeological Network, a community archaeology project working in the areas of England exposed at low tide but covered at high tide, areas at risk from wind, waves and storm. Their South Devon Rivers Discovery Programme focuses on the tidal reaches of the Rivers Exe, Teign and Dart. Citizan are collaborating with local groups to record and better understand the wide range of archaeological features, including abandoned boats and barges, the remains of coastal industries and lost prehistoric landscapes in the intertidal zone. We look forward to working together with CITiZAN later this year and in 2021. We chose to spend half of the session answering questions from the audience to make things a bit more discursive and invited Tom Powell, one of our key collaborators from the Global Systems Institute at University of Exeter to join us.
